The Suites
(We don’t like to use the word kennels, but sometimes have to for website advertising reasons etc.).
We only have eight, so we can promise one on one devotion. There are three doubles and five singles; the singles alone are spacious enough for two medium sized dogs. These are the largest we have seen in the dog boarding kennel business. Including private runs our suites range from 230 to 300 square feet.
In terms of the interior these are ‘Top Dog’. Each one is professionally decorated and themed, ranging from ‘Country Cottage’ to ‘Log Cabin’ and ‘Woodlands’ to ‘Seaside’.
There are also two private runs to each suite.
We have full modern washing and grooming facilities with a professional groomer (an ex-national college champion!) a couple of days a week.
A fully fitted ‘on site’ kitchen where there is always a roast chicken on the spit!
As far as the rest of the building is concerned
- It is built to the highest standards.
- Attractive brick and roof work.
- All exterior doors are high security UPVC and half glazed.
- Intruder alarms and 24 hour CCTV.
- Conforms to full fire regulations and disabled access conditions.
Standard Features
Each luxury suite has flat screen television with DVD player (some people say that dogs cannot see television, well we know from extensive experience that many can) and radio.
Heating and air conditioning as standard.
A ‘fake’ fire that provides a nice glow during the night.
Beautifully tiled floors.
And here is the best part. An internet Webcam in each suite so that you can see your pets whilst you are away!
PICTURES WILL BE POSTED SHORTLY
For added comfort for owners, each suite is fitted with a movement sensor, so if a dog is constantly moving during the night, an alarm is activated to our home where we can see via the webcam the dogs and determine if they are poorly or stressed etc., (highly unlikely!) and we will go to their aid immediately.
During the day we are always there anyway.
And if that is not enough, all interior walls are made of block work (not thin wood or plastic) and then coated with a soundproofing membrane before final décor is applied (nice and peaceful!).
